Bath County is connected to Interstate 81 (North/South) and Interstate 64 (East/West) by U.S. Primary Route 220 (North/South), as well as Virginia Primary Highways 42 and 39. Warm Springs is 25 miles North of the intersection of U.S. Route 220 and Interstate 64. U.S. Route 220 North of Bath County continues into West Virginia and Maryland. Millboro and Millboro Springs are approximately 17 miles North of the intersection of Virginia Route 42 and Interstate 64. Virginia Primary Highway 39, which traverses Bath County, is a part of the Virginia Byways system.
Ingall's Field, a commercial airport facility, is located 15 miles South of Hot Springs. It is operated by the Bath County Airport Authority. The Authority works with the community, region, Virginia Department of Aviation, and the F.A.A. to maintain the airport. General aviation services are available at the facility which also serves private aircraft. Private limousine and taxi services are provided at the airport. Commercial airline service is available in Virginia from nearby airports located in Roanoke, Richmond and Charlottesville. Greensboro, North Carolina's airport is within 3 hours.
