Sycamore Bend is a working farm located in the Cowpasture River Valley in Bath County, Virginia. The cabin, which is available to visitors, is a late 19th century log house which has been a family retreat for thirty years. The seclusion, the river, the exquisite beauty of the mountains, and the comfortable lodging at Sycamore Bend make it the ideal retreat for couples, families or a large group. Access is easy to Warm Springs, Hot Springs and the surrounding area for eating out, touring or shopping. There is room to sleep from eight to ten people. The fully equipped kitchen and one and a half baths are part of a more modern addition. Come spend some relaxed, quality time in this restored, historic log house overlooking one of America's most beautiful rivers.

| Directions: Route 39 west from Millboro Springs or east from Warm Springs, turn north on McClung Rd. (Rt. 629) at Fairview Community Center. At the "Y" intersection bear left onto River Road (Rt. 625), travel approximately five miles to Westminster Chapel Rd. (Rt. 624) and turn left. After 1 mile turn left into driveway and wind through woods and fields down toward the river to Sycamore Bend. |
